The 1x4 Atoma Diamond 140 by Jende is a true workhorse coarse grit plate. It is best used to profile, repair, and establish an edge and bevel on your knives and tools. It is best followed by the 400 grit Atoma, or a switch to waterstones or natural stones to continue your sharpening progression. Atoma Diamond plates can be used dry, or with water.
